Update: Eleanor and I have to cancel or at least postpone till Fall our 6-18-2022 Annual Car Club Picnic. On Saturday, May 21, we had an extreme Wind Event if not a Tornado. We sustained damage throughout our property and to buildings which will not allow us to be ready for guests in a few short weeks.

Indiana Region CCCA joins other club’s for the Annual Summer Picnic at Lime Rock Farm, Rush County, Indiana

The Summer Picnic started out in the summer of 2011 with 23 members of the Hoosier Region Lincoln & Continental Owners Club in attendance. It has now grown to a gathering of nearly 10 clubs. Bring your favorite car – there is plenty of parking space.

A box lunch from Linne’s & Moore Bakery & Cafe, Shelbyville, Indiana, will be available to purchase for $17 – pay at the door. All guests are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch if so desired. Cold soft drinks, water, and beer will be provided by the hosts to all attendees, along with tableware, paper goods and seating.

You are welcome to come prepared to swim in the pool or fish in the lake. Bring what you need. Two row boats are available to enjoy. Bring your own arms to row with and your own life jackets. The Amphicar parents are in Florida and we will have to wait to see if 2023 is the year for “Am- phicar Rides in the Lake.”

Please RSVP by Tuesday, June 14, 2022 with the number of guests and lunches needed. This will give your hosts and Linne’s time to prepare.
